the warp

Running time: 32 minutes

We take a theatrical ride of a lifetime into The Warp, "The Hippie Hamlet". Celebrating the alternative cultures of the 60's and 70's, the play brings together music hall, science fiction, story telling, sex and adventure to tell the life story of Phil Masters.

22 hours of theatre, 125 characters, The Warp was written by the infamous Neil Oram and originally directed by the master theatre creator, Ken Campbell.

This programme celebrates this extraordinary happening at Hoxton Hall in London in April '99.

The World may soon be divided into those who have seen The Warp . . . and those who have not.
