flip - Glastonbury Skateboarders
Inspired by the rattling of skate wheels at all hours of the day and night
through our town, we took our microphone (and stills camera) to the Market
Cross in Glastonbury. Here, at the monument, the town’s skateboarders
practise their art and hone their skills.
Set to original music by the Bristol-based music outfit Babyhead, the
programme covers the culture of skateboarding and the long running campaign
for a skate park in Glastonbury.
